My Digital Self

I believe i have invested a large amount of myself to online communities. I have a twitter and a facebook. A large portion of my communication is done online through facebook chats and skype. Now that I'm in college that aspect of communication is only going to increase now that I'm away from most of my friends. All of these digital investments (skype, facebook, and twitter) combined have created a fairly accurate digital representation of myself. When people see my digital self by looking at my profile on Facebook they see my interests and sports I play but they don't know my personality or who i really am until they actually meet me, because my digital self is never gonna be my real self.

First week emotional responses

When I first arrived on campus i had a plethora of emotions running through me. At first I felt sorrow because of having to leave my childhood behind, but then that feeling was over taken by freedom and happiness for starting a new chapter in my life. now that summer classes have finally started I'm beginning to feel like an FSU student. It really hit me when i walked into my first class with four hundred students in it. I was overwhelmed, but i quickly got used to it. After a few more days i think i might actually come to like it.
